What are the numbers on the dashboard?

Updated 1 month ago by Lauren

The dashboard is the main screen you land on when signing in Amenitiz. It is divided in three parts: your general statistics, your statistics for today and the bookings (check-ins, stayovers, checkouts).

Your statistics this month

  • New bookings this month: This is all the bookings you have received since the beginning of the month. It is not the number of bookings where the stay is included in this month.

  • Month to date: This is the sum of charges of the bookings that are during this month until today, not taking into account cancelled bookings. Charges can be nights sold, extras, city tax and taxes. Note that this includes paid and unpaid charges.

For example:

You are looking at your dashboard on May 3rd. You have a booking that is between April 28th and May 2nd. For each of those days, you have sold a room at 100euros a night and a breakfast at 10euros per breakfast. Your "Month to date" number will display the sum of the charges for the nights of the 1st and 2nd of May, meaning 220€. The charges that are in April will not be displayed because they are not included in the month of May.

Keep in mind that date taken into account to add up all the charges of the ongoing month is the date of the creation of the charge.
For example, if we are in April, your booking is from April 1st to April 10th and that you create a charge for the month of May, then it won't be taken into account in your "Month to date".

If you would like to see which charges are being taken into account to calculate your Month to Date, you can download your charges report by going into Reports < Reports. Choose the period that spans from the 1st of the ongoing month and the date of today.

  • Since January: This is the sum of charges of the bookings that are during this year until today, not taking into account cancelled bookings. Charges can be nights sold, extras, city tax and taxes. Note that this included paid and unpaid charges.

For example:

You are looking at your dashboard in January. You have a booking that is between December 28th and January 2nd. For each of those days, you have sold a room at 100euros a night and a breakfast at 10euros per breakfast. Your "Month to date" number will display the sum of the charges for the nights of the 1st and 2nd of January, meaning 220€. The charges that are in December will not be displayed because they are not included in the current year.

If you want more information, you can click on the "View all statistics" button, which will give you a more in depth view of your property.

What's happening today?

  • New bookings: This is all the bookings you have received today. It is not the number of bookings where the stay is today.

  • Check-ins: This is all the check-ins you have today.

  • Check-outs: This is all the check-outs you have today.

  • Stay-overs: this is the number of bookings that are stay overs. This is not the number of rooms or guests, but the number of bookings.

If you want more information, you can click on the "View all reservations" button, which will bring you to the list of all your bookings.
