What is a SEPA bank transfer?
The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a payment-integration initiative of the European Union for simplification of bank transfers denominated in euros.
As the SEPA transfers are specific to Euro transfers, this feature is only available for the following 36 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden, the 3 EEA countries of Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and also Switzerland, Monaco, and Britain (despite Brexit).
Be careful, the SEPA transfer is not available if your property is in the UK.
What is the commission?
The cost associated with the SEPA transfers is 0.65% per transaction, capped at 4€.
It means that the commission will remain at 4€ for any transfer above 615€.
How does it work?
You can make a SEPA transfer request directly from the reservation page.

Fill the amount you want to request, click on bank transfer, fill your guest's email address, and click on Send:
An email will be sent to your guest with the relevant information to proceed with the transfer:
IBAN, Account Owner, Bic/Swift, Reference, Type, Amount.
A unique and temporary IBAN is automatically generated for each transaction, connected to your AmenitizPay account, allowing the tracking of transfers.
Upon reception of the email, your guest will be able to follow the usual steps to proceed with the transfer:
Enter their own bank account and fill in all the information to proceed with the payment.
Once the payment is made on your guest’s side, it might take up to two full business days for the money to reach your AmenitizPay account.
If your guest pays less than expected, a new request will be sent to complete the payment, and you will be notified.
If your guest pay more than requested, you will need to contact your guest to handle the situation.
To manage your payments from the mobile version or from the application, follow the next steps:
- You can first log in to your account or to the application.
- Then, click on the reservation you want to manage, either from the “activity” tab, or from the "calendar" tab.
- You will be landed on the details of the reservation, from here you can click on "create a payment":
- You can then process the payment:
Choose the amount you want, and you will be able to proceed with the payment.
