If a reservation comes from an OTA, then this cancellation has to be done from the OTA. You can do it from Amenitiz for reservations added manually and coming from the booking engine only.
In any case, you will have the option to send a cancellation confirmation to the client

In order to cancel a reservation, go to > Reservations in your Amenitiz administrator area left sidebar.
Once here, you will find all your bookings. Click on the booking you wish to modify and on "view booking details" :
Cancel the booking: you can choose to cancel the reservation by going in the summary of the reservation, and on the three dots to "Cancel the booking":
Once cancelled, you will no longer be able to change the status of this booking. The cancelled reservations will still be visible on your Amenitiz administrator area.
For bookings imported during the connection with the channel manager, if a cancellation is made on the OTA this information will not be sent to Amenitiz.

To cancel a reservation from the application, follow the next steps:

- You can first log in to your account or to the application.
- Then, click on the reservation you want to manage, either from the “activity” tab, or from the "calendar" tab.
- You will be landed on the details of the reservation, from here you can click on "Cancel the booking":
