Allow overbooking

The Amenitiz inventory does not allow overbooking by default, but it is possible to remove this security to allow it.


To avoid any potential overbooking, we limit the number of possible bookings to the maximum number of units available. It means that if you have 1 accommodation with 3 units, if you have 3 reservations a specific day, it will not be possible to allow more new bookings.

It is possible to overbook, which means that you will be able to add new availabilities, even if you have a reservation on it.

You will not be able to add more availabilities if you have no reservations on this room and date. This option only works if you want to sell more rooms after receiving bookings.

To allow overbooking, go to Booking Engine > Settings and "Options".

At the bottom of this page, you will find the “danger zone

To allow overbooking, all you have to do is clicking on “Limit the number of possible bookings to the number of rooms in the category” > No.
