Release an authorization with AmenitizPay

Authorisations will always be held 7 days from the day of arrival, and be automatically released after 7 days. This article explains how to release authorisations before, if your client is staying less than a week for example.

 

In order to release an authorisation that has been made by AmenitizPay for one of your bookings, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to > Reservations and search the desired reservation

    2. Click on > View booking details

    3. Go to the Payments section and scroll down to the Authorisation section

    4. Click on the three small dots under the options and click on > Release authorisation

When releasing the authorisation, the amount is no longer blocked on the traveler's account, and you can no longer capture/debit the authorisation.
